As always, thanks again for your continued support and interest in HARDWARE: Shipbreakers. As you may have already heard, HARDWARE: Shipbreakers is now officially a HOMEWORLD game!
HOMEWORLD: Shipbreakers has become the first new game in the Homeworld franchise in over 10 years. As some of the original creators, we couldn’t be happier!
Shipbreakers will feature the same great gameplay and art that we were building for HARDWARE, only now it will be secured inside one of the most recognized and respected franchises in video games. The game will be released as a commercial product, not a free-to-play game. Additional details such as features, story and release date will follow in due course.
In light of this change and the obvious implications it has for the title, our plans to produce a Prospector’s Guide have been shelved for now. However, by signing up as Prospectors and VIP’s for HARDWARE we feel like you joined an exclusive ‘club’ with BBI. At this early stage we have not yet determined what membership in this club will include but this much is known:
1) Your Prospectors Guide and/or VIP package purchase will be fully refunded within the next 1-2 weeks.
2) You will receive a free copy of HOMEWORLD: Shipbreakers when it is released.
3) You will be notified if and when any additional benefits or products will be available for Prospector Guide & VIP buyers like yourself.
While we will miss the opportunity of making an awesome Prospector’s Guide for HARDWARE, we can’t wait to build Shipbreakers as a Homeworld game. Stay tuned for more info!

TL;DR: Prospector's Guide отменен, игра переведена на коммерческую основу, всем, кто вложил в них деньги эту сумму вернут в полном объеме, в момент релиза выдадут полную версию игры, обо всех плюшках будут предупреждены заранее.
