Не успел поиграть в 6.2, так уже 6.3 вышла:

Above the work in progress of the 6 series, done during 2007.

New features:
-unit experience, now active units can increase their game experience, job is at 100%;
-energy management system based on the Power Station (new model), canceled;
-unit weight management, subsystems' weight affects the unit drive systems, job is at 100%;
-new unit selector, a friendly unit selector based on icons that let you to choose any ship you want from any place of the game map, job is at 80%;
-new resource system based on Mining Bases and mobile Mine Containers, now you can capture Mining Bases and extract from them RUs by Resource Collectors, then you have to take RUs to your fleet by Mine Containers, job is at 100%;
-repairing system based on Patcher units (new model), Patchers are smart units that automatically can repair your damaged ships, they are managed from the Repair System Subsystem, job is at 100%;
-new maps (3), job is at 100%;
-new Hiigaran and Vaygr ships, see below, a lot of care has been take on the Vaygr fleet, job is at 100%;
-also the AI has been improved up to the limit and now you can select from your multiplayer menu its personality: defensive, normal and aggressive, canceled;
-the sound engine has been improved, sounds added, a Mothership alarm system has been implemented, job is at 100%;
-new tactic buttons (unit menu: Mothership platform link, total parade) implemented, job is at 100%;
-new HUD tactic button (select all visible, select armed units) implemented, job is at 100%;
-also bug fixing and gama balancing are natural tasks.

Units:
Speaking about new units we are working on:
-Hiigaran Power Station, a big ship (like the Crew Station or the Research Station in Complex 5) used to generate energy for the fleet, canceled;
-Hiigaran Shuttle, a big transport ship, job is at 90%;
-Hiigaran Vortex, a big flying disc, the most power Hiigaran unit, job is starting;
-Hiigaran Massive Turret, a modular turret consisting of a massive body with 2 buildable weapon system in its sides, job is at 10%;
-Hiigaran Hyperscape Platform, I'm searching for a modeller;
-Hiigaran RU Manager (I'm not sure this will be the definitive name), a very important ship used to store RUs and to manage the fusion system, I'm searching for a modeller;
-A massive Bomber (Heavy Bomber) have been implemented for the Hiigaran, from the PDS mod, job is at 100%;
-A big Capital Ship (Battleship) have been implemented for the Vaygr too, from the PDS mod, job is at 100%.

Balancing/Improvements:
Game content/detail improved;
Juggernaut explosion fx improved;
Carrier parade modified (y, -100);
Drive module effects (on carrier ship) decreased by 10%;
Hiigaran Mothership Torpedo Launcher exit speed Increased by 5%;
Carrier, Battlecruiser, Research Station and Crew Station explosion damage range reduced by 5%.

Bug fixing:
System crash due to "unable to find player" error fixed;
System crash due to "missing Crew Station parade data" error fixed;
Code optimized, lag/skipping reduced by 15%.
